摘要：农民工是中国工业化、城市化和市场化进程中形成的一个特殊的群体，他们肩负着建设城市和繁荣农村的双重任务，他们对中国工业化发展和城市化进程做出了重大贡献。2003年出现的“民工荒”打破了中国劳动力“无限供给”的神话，“民工荒”问题是中国社会的一个较为复杂而又重要的问题，“民工荒”削弱了劳动密集型企业的国际竞争力，影响了中国对外资的吸引，已经影响到了经济社会生活的方方面面。本课题探讨了“民工荒”产生的原因，并从不同方面提出了解决“民工荒”问题的对策。
